George in the rack!

Viewer Betty sent this in to me–is it not HILARIOUSLY adorable? Beatles first American Visit, 1964, on the train to Washington. You’ve probably seen a pic of George up in the luggage rack on the train–well, this is how he got up there!

He’s lean and adorable. A little piece of leather but well put together, lol.

Wondered how he got up there, especially when watching the video of the First US Visit. Thanks for sharing. I needed a good smile after a hard day’s (night) work.

Wow. That has got to be the most cute, but akward position i have ever seen him in!! That would be so much fun to be in a luggage rack, but I have never seen that pic, sadly. Do you think it was his idea to get up there or someone else’s?

*sighs* He and his friends are a real piece of work. Not that my friends wouldn’t have thought of that though….;D

Any way, love the blog! Have been following it since day 1!

Megg: Well, the story is that he felt really sick (which was true) and he wanted to take a nap, so he went up into the rack. I’m not sure that’s the reason, but it’s still adorable.
