i actually have a question as opposed to a picture
in Help why is George eating the cymbals?

Lots of people have asked me this! The best thing I’ve been able to find on this subject is that it’s a little joke about George having the “munchies” because the Boys were high on pot through most of the making of the movie. I can’t confirm it, but I have read it in at least two different Beatles books.

what were the cymbals made of?

I think they are just regular cymbals with a bite cut out of one. If you look closely, he really isn’t “eating” it.

Hi! Oh, that’s easy! It’s toward the end of their stint in the Alps–the skiing part. It will be right after the snowmen are chasing them on skis, and Klang(in snowman costume) does a magnificent ski jump. Klang is taken to receive a medal for his efforts, and a band begins to play. The Beatles are hiding in that band, and George is chewing on the cymbal.

    Dear Puppatoons,
I tried to send you a picture of George being lifted on the luggage rack but I got a returned email. I only know how to send it through email, really don’t know how to post it. Maybe you can help me. I know how to cut and paste. Your email was “No Reply” .

Just so you you know I have over 600 pictures of George alone. Some are really cute and funny.
I saw the Beatles in 1964 so now you know I am not a youngster. LOL

Hi puppatoons. This is a GREAT blog on George! Thank you so much for this! =D Keep up the good work 😉 Oh and the blog name is so spot on, George IS love!

About the cymbals: Imho, I think it really was a spur of a moment thing. As you pointed out, the cymbal already had a piece missing. As we all know, George had an awesome sense of humor!!

Have you seen the picture where George is lying flat on his face on the ground. His arms are pinned by his sides and he’s just lying flat down. I have it, if you need me to send/post it (just tell me how!!!)… but I’d love to know what he’s doing!!

I have a picture of George that I have been really curious about. I don’t know if you have seen it but he seems very tired and is fast asleep. Whoever took the picture, I am sure it was taken without his knowledge. I can tell it is taken from far away with a telephoto lens because of blurred objects in the foreground. I recognized the outfit he is wearing but what I really want to know is where do you think it was taken and what event was he attending.

Hi, Puppatoons. I once saw a photo with, John, Paul, and George, which I think was from 1964. It look like they’ve just gotten off of a plane, but for some strange reason, some woman is coming George’s hair…. with a giant comb, and George looks like he’s ready to cry. Are you familiar with this photo? If not, then I can email it to you. Keep up the great work, love your blog. 😉

    • puppatoons said,

      April 25, 2010 at 2:57 am

Yes! I think George is totally putting on the face because he’s very irritated with the giant comb staging…I’ve seen another pic from that moment in which he is looking very, very grumpy. If you wouldn’t mind, could you send it to me, or post it here, so I won’t have to go searching through acres of pics to find it?

Absolutely! Check your e-mail in a few minutes. Just need to find it and upload it again. 🙂

    Hi Puppatoons,

I have another picture of George that I think is so funny. He is being mobbed by a nutty fan. Their are two policemen or guards trying to pull the girl off of him. What I find so funny is that George’s mouth is wide open as though he is screaming. What I want to know is he laughing, is he supprised or what. I don’t know if the girl is squeezing, pinching or giving him a wedgy, its hard to tell but it is so funny, lol. I’m going to send it to you.

this is one of my favorites..I often have used it on a rather juvenile Livejournal community in which the Paul fans can’t stand it if George is mentioned more than three times..they then scream “What about PAUL??” and I will toss up this photo…XD (not that I have a thing against Paul–but some of his younger fans can get really irritating)
