Ah, adult acne.

Poor George. I’ve read that he often had to wear more stage makeup than the others in the Beatles’ early days because he had the worst skin problems. You often see candid, everyday pics of younger George with quite a lot of blemishes. Here, a makeup man, possibly on the set of A Hard Days Night, looks as if he’s giving specific spot treatments to Geo’s face.

I feel your pain, George! I’m 38 and I still have to deal with it!

When you look at all the most beautiful stars in Hollywood they all have acne problems. He was still beautiful despite the problem he sometimes had with his skin.

Oooh boy, I’m not even in my mid-20’s yet, but I know that feeling. Btw, if you look carefully in “HELP!”, you’ll see that George already had some scarring on his face (no doubt from acne). But we still love him. ❤
PS: Love the blog, keep up the great work. George was so brilliant, and will always be missed.

I know, so unfair! I’ve got grey hair, wrinkles, need bifocals, show the ravages of gravity all over the place, AND I still get zits. Just so totally wrong. *sigh*

“Hey, you won’t interfere with the basic rugged concept of me personality, will you, madam?”
