RIP George Harrison, Nov. 29, 2001.

I still remember where I was when I heard the news, and how sad I was, but so relieved that he wasn’t suffering anymore.

The most I remember about his death is my cousin emailing me and telling me we lost our sweet George . The beatles was a fun part of our lives. I remember seeing them in Atlantic City on their second tour in 1964. Remembering the fun days of Beatlemania.

George was a favorite of mine, of my cousin and of my younger sister. It reminds me of such happy times. He will always be in our hearts as well as our memories.

Please keep up this wonderful site. Peace and Love.

    From a first generation Beatlemaniac

I was 3 when he died. These days, I can’t help but think what it would have been like if I was born in the ’40s. 😦

He died during my freshman year of high school. I remember someone telling me in English class. I had already developed a reputation as a pretty big Beatles fan, so random people came up to me to say they were sorry (as though I knew him, but sometimes I think I do anyway).

Such a sad day, but it seems like he was in bad shape at the end, so I’m glad he’s not suffering anymore.

I was only 3 when he died, I can’t tell if it was really good or bad, because if I were older I could have enjoyed while George was alive, but at the same time I would have suffered a lot.
