What swung me over.

This is pretty close to how George looked the day I think I swtiched from Diehard Ringo Fan to Diehard George Fan(although Ringo is still a close favorite–I love me Economy Class Beatles)

I was a teen, and mullets were cool. George just looked hot.The voice grabbed me.I was helpless to resist.

I know exactly how you feel. He is a fabulous specimen no matter what age he was, but my personal favorite is definitely 1968-Mad Day Out period. Hot, hot, hoooooooooooooooooottttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!!!! 😀

Hi- apologies for lateness of comment but only discovered you rather wonderful blog this week! I was 14 in 1987 when Cloud 9 came out and like you that was it! For me George had more charisma and talent in his little finger that almost all the other artists that were in the charts in that period. I became a massive fan and George and his music (and of course the Beatles!) and his music played a significant role in my life for the next few years. For that I will always be eternally in George’s debt. Thank you Dark Horse (ps -Cloud 9 is still an awesome album!)
