George the Yak.

Excellent shot of George Harrison during the famous “Rooftop Session”. I do think it’sa colorized black-and-white, however.

This is not colorized, it is from the roof top session.

I know it’s from the rooftop session(which was filmed in color), but I still think it’s B&W photo with a color overlay to match the film.Something about the skin tone just doesn’t look right to me.OR simply very crappy, faded Polaroidness.

    is that a fur coat?
that doesn’t seem like something George would wear

It is a little strange, isn’t it? Considering his vegetarian ways at the time. This was a coat(persian lamb–made from a particular breed of sheep that is killed when the lambs are just a few days old) he received as a wedding gift from Pattie back in ’65, and I’ve seen him in fur boots around this time, too. Not sure if back then he didn’t equate fur on the same level of cruelty as eating meat,or he just didn’t feel like getting rid of the coat, or he may not have even had a clue how it was made.
